Dr. Ros finished medical study on the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, in 1982. In 1990, she passed master degree on prognostic factors, disease free interval and survival in malignant melanoma patients. In 1995, she finished training in neurology . I She is the only neurologist in the National cancer center, covering the population of two million inhabitants. In the last years we pay more intention to paraneoplastic neurological disorders and gathering more experiences in this special topic. We send material for testing for onconeural antibodies to prof. Graus laboratory in Barcelona. On our regular clinical neuropathologic conferences we have presented a few patients with PNS, the last one is prepairing for publication.

Scientific Team
Maja Trost, MD, MSc, neurologist, Viktor Svigelj, MD, MSc, neurologist,
Bernard Meglic, MD, MSc, neurologist, Uros Rot, MD, MSc, neurologist,
Prof. Mara Popovic, MD, PhD, neuropathologist.

Research facilities
We have no laboratory for testing onconeural antibodies yet. We send material for such testing to Barcelona.

Areas of interest:
According to rarity of such cases, we are interested in prevalence and type of PNS in our country .
